We’re Marc, Finn and Jessi – and we all spent a few years living in Singapore.

For us, Kaya was never an “exotic spread”. It was simply part of everyday life – for breakfast or as a snack in between. Whenever we visited friends or family in Germany, we almost always brought Kaya with us. At first, one jar. Then two. And soon, the first messages started coming in: “Can you bring some again next time (and maybe more than just one jar)?”

At some point, people didn’t just want to try Kaya anymore – they wanted it regularly.

And that’s when we started thinking: Maybe Kaya isn’t just something we miss now that we’re back in Germany. Maybe it deserves a place here, too. And so the idea was born to bring a little piece of Southeast Asia to Germany.

For everyone with a sense of wanderlust.

For everyone who knows and misses Southeast Asia.

And, of course, for everyone discovering this food culture for the very first time.

We produce our Kaya directly in Singapore – where it comes from.

No adapted version, no “Asian-inspired” take, but the real thing, tasting just the way we know and love it.

For us, Kaya is a taste of memories, everyday life and pure enjoyment all at once.
